Location: the hotel was close to the sea, and the restaurant. The staff were pleasant and exceptional and knew how to help. The breakfast was savoury and sensational, had a great selection of food.

The room is reasonably spacious and there are fabulous views over the sea. The interior is lovely and design is modern. The property's location is great and lovely, not far from restaurants, the Esplanade and beautiful Shanklin beach.

The location is just amazin, u got beautiful views of the beach n great access to local fun stuff. The staff were super friendly n always keen to help us out. We really loved the food, especially breakfast. Plus, the room was clean n comfy, a bonus for a budget room. A great getaway!

Waking up to a cracking breakfast was a total treat, especially those fresh-cracked eggs! The staff were absolute legends, and the lovely sea view from our room just topped it off. Plus, it's right there on the seafront-absolute gem!
Now, the kettle situation was a bit dodgy-couldn't fill it in the tiny basin. Plus, finding the right shower temp was a proper faff-it's either lukewarm or scalding! When it comes to the room, it was smallish and the TV was so ancient it reminded me of a museum piece!

A comfortable bed provided great restful nights, and the beachfront location offered fine views. The breakfast menu featured tasty omelettes and excellent coffee. The room felt old and poorly maintained, with dust-covered lamps and a lack of daily cleaning services. Garbage was not collected , detracting from the overall experience.

great location but rooms need some attention
The sea front view was lovely and made our mornings enjoyable. Breakfast offered a variety of options and was fresh each day.
The budget double room felt a bit outdated and could use some improvements.

The budget double room feels more like a closet than a hotel room, barely allowing space for the bed and a few inches to maneuver. It's got tired decor and a bathroom with holes in the walls where fixtures used to be, which isn't exactly cute. The lack of storage means you're left shuffling around belongings, and the view of the dustbins really kills any peaceful atmosphere you might hope for. Noise from staff as they clean and do their business goes on late. Even basic amenities like electrical sockets or storage in the bathroom could use some improvement. It didn't feel like a place I could unwind.

We loved our stay here and especially enjoyed the fine beach access and the relaxing sun terrace. It was the perfect spot for unwinding after our days out. The only hitch was that the room door was a bit tricky to open, but it didn't take away from the overall great experience! 😊

amazing, amazing, amazing
Waking up in my Double Room was pure bliss with views of the beach right outside my window! The really good breakfast spread each morning was hard to resist, especially those fresh, hot pastries that melted in my mouth. Plus, the sun terrace was the perfect spot to soak up those rays and sip my morning coffee!

We loved the beach views from the veranda during breakfast and dinner. Exploring the nearby amusements and fantastic ice cream shop was a highlight too. Downloading the PayByPhone app was super handy for parking. The staff were friendly and had great tips for ferry discounts. We'll definitely be back as it made for a perfect base for our adventures.
